A quick project I did during covid lockdown to release some frustration. When Trump said, "I don't take responsibility at all" about the rampant spread of Covid it seemed like the perfect summation of his presidency as a whole. I planned this piece as a weave so it would appear fractured. It was an interesting exercise to work on something upsetting. If I were to do it over again now I would make it even more “off” to increase the sense of uneasiness, and work on refining the letters. And if I had the lockdown to do over again I would learn Spanish!
